We want the process of bringing home your Ritterkatz Ragdoll kitten to be as smooth and transparent as possible. Please read the information below carefully.
Breeder & Pet Contracts
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your kitten. The deposit amount will be discussed at the time of reservation. Deposits secure your place on the waiting list and are applied toward the total purchase price of your kitten.
Payment Methods
Please contact us to discuss payment arrangements. Full payment is due before or at the time of pickup.
Kitten Pricing
Pricing of our kittens are as follows:
Pet Kittens
$2,800 and up
Price depends on markings and colors of the kitten.
A $500 deposit is required to place a Pet Kitten as Reserved.
Show Kittens
$4,500
Show rights only.
A $600 deposit is required to place a Show Kitten as Reserved.
Breeder Kittens
$4,500 and up
Pricing will be determined by color and markings.
A $600 deposit is required to place a Breeder Kitten as Reserved.
Ritterkatz Ragdolls Policies
We often have many individuals interested in the same Ragdoll kitten. The earlier you make a deposit, the sooner you will secure your precious baby Ragdoll kitten.
Once a particular Ragdoll kitten for sale has been chosen by you and you have placed a deposit, we will reserve that kitten for you so that no other individual can make a deposit on the same Ragdoll kitten.
Ritterkatz Ragdolls reserves the right to refuse sale to anyone for any reason. We also reserve the right to hold back a kitten of our choice and to refund the deposit.
Purchase Contract
All kittens are sold with a written purchase contract. The contract outlines the health guarantee, spay/neuter requirements for pet kittens, and the breeder's right of first refusal should you ever need to rehome your cat.
Key contract points include:
- • Health guarantee against genetic defects
- • Kitten must be kept as an indoor-only cat
- • Pet kittens must be spayed or neutered by a specified age
- • Breeder must be notified if you can no longer keep the cat
- • Kitten must receive regular veterinary care
